The large sized peanut ball is an excellent therapy tool for children and youth. Because of its cylindrical shape, movement is limited to two planes. Forward and backward is the primary plane, with an up or down motion added as the subtle but secondary plane of movement.
The contoured saddle shape in the middle of the peanut ball cradles and supports the user and enables them to sit on the ball without rolling off.
The large peanut ball is great to learn movement skills, do stretching exercises, strengthen specific muscle groups as well as balance training.
