Junior Adaptor for Water Wheelchair – GST Free

The updated Junior Adaptor with adjustable thoracic supports simply clips on and off the back of your existing standard water wheelchair (Item 9580).

It is designed to stabilise smaller adults or children (4 years to teenager) while they are sitting in the water wheelchair.

The Junior Adaptor can easily be removed so the water wheel chair can again be used by the general population.

It fits onto a poly pipe frame diameter of 32mm.

Inside dimensions of the seat when fitted with a Junior Adaptor is 480mm W x 310mm Deep

Fitting the Junior Adaptor onto the Standard Water Wheelchair (Item 9580)

The Junior Adaptor can be clipped onto the back of a Standard Water Wheelchair (see photo with red highlight).There needs to be a cut out in the wheelchair’s back mesh to allow the clip to rest on the frame-it cannot be simply clipped over the mesh. If your water wheelchair does not have this cut-out, you will need to order a replacement back mesh with a cut out (Item 9582RM) along with your Junior Adaptor.

A 3-Point Over Shoulder Harness (Item 9583S) is not included with the Junior Adaptor but is available for purchase for extra support within the water wheelchair.
