Fabric Rescue Stretcher

Tough, reinforced, chlorine resistant open weave fabric stretcher with handles. Intended for quick removal of swimmer in times of emergency. Easily folded or rolled up to store away.

The Theraquatics fabric rescue stretcher is strictly designed for emergency evacuation. It is not intended for standard pool access.

To evacuate a swimmer from a swimming pool using a fabric rescue stretcher:

1. Unroll the fabric rescue stretcher and place near the edge of the pool.
2. Communicate the transfer plan to the swimmer.
3. Submerge the mesh fabric stretcher and slide the stretcher under the swimmer while in the water.
4. Support the swimmer’s head so as to keep their airway clear above the water line.
5. Position multiple rescuers evenly along both sides of the pool edge to use the reinforced grab handles.
6. Counted synchronously, use a coordinated team lift to pull the lightweight fabric rescue stretcher and patient straight up and out of the water onto the pool deck and directly to a rigid stretcher.
